This is a light-touch ILM coaching qualification tailored to Procurement & Supply Chain professionals who want to take the initial steps into developing their people skills with a coaching approach. The course is underpinned by our unique P.R.O.C.U.R.E® coaching framework and toolkit, not only for coaching others, but to also help you to build exceptional soft skills when it comes to engaging with your stakeholders across the organisation. This course is designed for professionals who wish to develop their leadership & management skills with a coaching approach and coach on a 1:1 basis. 

For Procurement to make a real impact and influence business outcomes, there needs to be a solid understanding of how to lead others and understand how to support them in a collaborative way. Learning to coach will help you to understand yourself and your own leadership style, support others to achieve their goals and use these skills to understand and influence your stakeholders in a collaborative way. 

No. This course will teach you how to coach and lead others using the P.R.O.C.U.R.E® coaching framework created especially for Procurement & Supply Chain professionals. We will teach you how to develop coaching skills to coach on a 1:1 basis, build exceptional stakeholder engagement, develop your team and offer coaching as a service (either in-house or externally). This course will enable you to be more adaptable in your Procurement approach and unlock your full potential as a Procurement & Supply Chain professional.

If you are passionate about people, personal development and helping and supporting others, then that's a great start! To get the most out of the course, we ask that you take the course willing to work on your own personal development so that you can help others with theirs.  

As this is a self-guided course, you can complete the course at your own pace. As part of your induction, your personal tutor will help you to lay out your study plan in a realistic timeframe that works for you. As you proceed towards qualification after you've studied the modules, we anticipate that the your qualification can be completed within 6-9 months. 

You will have access to all the course materials for 3 years from the date of your ILM registration. You will also gain membership to the Institute of Leadership for 6 months (this is included in your investment). You can complete the assignments at your own pace (although please be aware of the turnaround times for marking - your course trainer can offer you more information). 

Level 3 has 3 assignments, which you can complete at your own pace as you develop your coaching practice. Assignment 1 is based on the theory and application of coaching skills within an organisation. Once you have completed your coaching practice hours, assignment 2 will be your coaching diary based on 12 hours of coaching between 2 and 3 people. Assignment 3 is a reflective essay on your development as a coach. You will receive more guidance on these assignments and get plenty of support from your tutor.
