Hi, I'm Laura, an Executive Coach to Procurement leaders and teams. I'm on a mission to maximise Procurement's impact and influence through coaching.
After spending almost a decade in leadership and management roles, working alongside Procurement leaders and their teams on initiatives such as process improvement, employee engagement, change management and strategy, I wanted to go deeper with my understanding of change, people's motivations, and relationships dynamics in the workplace. After training as a coach, I made the move to set up my own coaching business in 2022.
Since then I have coached Procurement leaders, teams and business owners across 3 continents and in a variety of sectors to unlock their full potential and maximise their impact within the context of their organisation.
My purpose as a coach is deeply rooted in elevating Procurement's position and profile, so that they can orchestrate value across the organisation. But the reality of this is that it will take more than one coach to achieve this. It needs a collective coaching mindset across the Procurement profession and a deeper understanding of human behaviour and relationship dynamics, which is why I have set up a coach training business designed specifically for Procurement professionals, offering globally recognised ILM qualifications using the P.R.O.C.U.R.E® coaching framework.
I've designed this framework to offer Procurement professionals flexibility in their approach so that they can coach others to thrive as well as build great business engagement with their stakeholders. It's a person-centred framework that breaks through the silos of Procurement categories and sectors.
How I work
- My first career passion was languages, and it took me abroad to live and work in Russia, France and Spain, where I experienced a variety of organisational cultures and relationship dynamics. And while I am now back in the UK, my passion for coaching is built upon the solid foundations of language; the way we talk to ourselves and the way that we communicate with others, both verbally and non-verbally.
